April 13th

Today it is time for the pancake cruise along the Maas! Here is a recipe for Dutch pancakes. They're traditionally eaten with sweet toppings like jam, stroop (Dutch syrup), and powdered sugar OR savory toppings like bacon and cheese. The plane ride from LGA to the Netherlands is smooth, with few bumps along the way. You get some delicious snacks and even a glass of white wine.  You land in Schiphol and are greeted by a handsome Dutch man and American lady waiting to drive you to Maastricht.
